To begin, cut 2 pieces of very fine chain. Here we've kept 14 links. We prefer to count the links in this tutorial rather than measure the chain, because it's quite short and you can tell the difference by one link. Next, widen the links at the ends with a reamer. Then place an oval ring on one side. On the other side, place an oval ring with the 3 mounted beads. Using flat-nose pliers, carefully open the ring on the back of the earring. Always open the rings spirally, never sideways. Don't open the ring too far, as this could weaken it. Just leave enough space to insert the components. Then insert the closed ring and the oval ring of the chain. Close the ring securely.
Make the second loop symmetrical. Play with contrasts by mixing different colours of beads!
