An easy tutorial for creating a cascade of aventurine: a play of sizes and shapes, faceted cabochons that catch the light and a refined setting to bring out the gems to their best advantage.

Add an infinite number of variations with our natural stone cabochons.

You will need :
6 open rings, 3mm, 24K gold-plated earring holders Gilded with 24K fine gold for 4x6mm cabochons 24K gold-plated connectors for 4mm and 6mm cabochons 2 pendants Gilded in 24K fine gold for 4x6mm cabochons 4 natural stone cabochons 4x6mm 2 natural stone cabochons 4mm 2 natural stone cabochons 6mm

Tools to be used :

flat nose pliers for creating jewellery
UHU jewellery glue

Assembly:

To begin, place a small dab of glue on a support (cardboard, sheet of paper, etc.) This will help you to measure out the glue properly and avoid using too much, as this can cause smudges on the supports and stones.

Using a fine point (such as a toothpick), take a small amount of glue and place it in the centre of a cabochon holder. Place the cabochon in its holder and apply a little pressure. Adjust it so that it is well positioned.

Repeat this step for all the brackets and cabochons.

Wait until completely dry or at least 5/10 minutes.

Now open a 3mm ring using 2 flat pliers, then connect the 6mm cabochon connector at the bottom of the earring holder.

Connect the cabochon connector to the bottom of the 6mm connector and finish with the oval cabochon pendant.

Make sure that the joint rings are tightly closed. If necessary, place the assembly facing a window to check that the rings are closed properly.
