Cut a piece of cord about 35cm long, then thread the beads following the chosen word. 

Place 3 beads for the lines and one bead for the dots. For the spaces, place a bead, preferably in the same colour as the cord.

Centre the beads on the cord and tie a knot at each end to secure them.

Then cross the cords and make a macramé knot using the technique below.
