To start with, cut 6 threads of about 2 metres each. The length will depend on the number of turns you want to make. 

This type of bracelet is worn more tightly on the wrist, so the more turns you make, the nicer the effect will be to give a cuffed look.

Now fold the threads in 2 to double them and then tie a knot with all the threads to create a loop.

Then separate the strands to form 3 groups of 4 threads. Here, for a pretty mix, we've taken 4 light blue-green strands, 2 gold strands + 2 orange strands and 2 gold strands + 2 burgundy strands.

Now you can start braiding. Don't panic, this is a classic braid with 3 sets of threads. Continue until you reach the desired length.

Once you've braided the right length, tie a knot with all the threads together to stop the braid.

To close your bracelet, wrap the braid around your wrist, then pass the end with the knot through the loop. Then you can tie a knot to close the bracelet. This type of bracelet is best worn casually, with the knot adding a simple, less elaborate touch that's perfect for summer!

To personalise your jewellery, you can now attach pendants in different places using 4mm rings.
