We're bringing out one of Perles Corner Corner's iconic models, the fringed earrings, here embellished with a natural stone and pretty gold brackets.. You can easily personalise these earrings by changing the colour of the fringes, the stone and even the BO backing.

To begin, cut the fringe braid to the size of the curved end. Pull on the edge of the braid to bring the seam towards the edge. This allows the braid to form a natural curve. Then place some glue inside the end cap, making sure it doesn't run over. Position the braid and use a reamer to fit it snugly into the end cap. Then flatten the curved end with your fingers. Be careful not to use pliers, as this could deform and scratch the tip. You can trim the fringes neatly with scissors, taking care not to cut too much. To finish, place a small dab of glue in the centre of the tip and place the cabochon. Then open a 5mm ring and connect the connector with the curved tip. Place the earring on top of the connector. Et voilà! Beautiful creation! |
