Graphic Amethyst Earrings - Suspended Elegance

You will need :
Stud earrings with 24K fine gold plating 24K gold-plated fantasy links chain 2 gemstone beads 0.4 mm brass wire, gilded with 24K fine gold

Assembly:

To begin, cut a brass wire about 10cm long.

Cut 2 pieces of chain about 5cm long.

Thread the bead drop then cross the threads at the top of the drop.

Twist one of the 2 threads onto the other for 2 turns, then cut the excess off flush. If necessary, flatten the cut with flat-nose pliers.

Now take a pair of round-ended pliers and form a small loop with the remaining wire.

Insert the chain before completing the assembly.

Secure the loop with flat pliers, then wind the thread between the tip of the drop and the loop for several turns. Make as many turns as you like, this will dress up the top of the pearl and give it a pretty finish!

Trim the excess thread flush.

To finish, gently spiral open the ring at the bottom of the earring towards the side. Insert the chain and close the ring. Be careful to open the ring just enough to allow the link to pass through, otherwise you risk weakening the fastener or even breaking the ring.

Repeat all the steps to make the other earring.
